About US
Background and Bio
Dawn (the founder and Chief Education Officer of EPIC) is a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) expert who provides clients with extraordinarily practical inclusionary concepts to support clients in our increasingly diverse world.
Dawn's passion for DEIB was sparked during her almost 20 years' experience in education focused on continuous school improvement and school turnaround, resulting in bridging gaps in education for urban and suburban school districts. As a result, Dawn expanded her passion and expertise for DEIB into private sectors and the community.
Dawn has fulfilled instrumental roles in the United States (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware) including as a teacher, school administrator, director of equity and assessment, title IX coordinator, professional developer, new teacher mentor, child and family advocate, adjunct professor and consultant. Dawn has also facilitated trainings for offices in India, and the United Kingdom.
Dawn is a wife, mother, friend, mentor and your DEIB trainer!
